Use Chrome on your Android phone and open your official RYDAR website.

Add GuardianDrive AI to Your Home Screen

Install the website as a convenient app-style shortcut.

1.Open the RYDAR website in Google Chrome.
2.Tap the three-dot menu ⋮ in the top-right corner.
3.Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
4.Confirm by tapping Add / Install.
5.The GuardianDrive AI icon will now appear on your Home Screen.

Done: You can now open GuardianDrive AI directly from your Android Home Screen.

Android • Step 3

Install the Alert Sender APK

The Alert Sender app is used to send emergency alerts to your selected contact when the RYDAR emergency workflow requires it.

APK Installation Guide

1.Tap Download Alert Sender APK above to access Google Drive.
2.Download and open the .apk file.
3.If Android blocks installation, open the requested setting and allow Install unknown apps / Allow from this source for your browser or file manager.
4.Return to the APK and tap Install.
5.Open Alert Sender after installation.
6.Grant all requested permissions, especially emergency alert permissions.
7.Keep background execution permissions enabled for active emergency protection.

Important: Only install the APK from your official RYDAR distribution source. Never install an APK from an unknown third-party source.

There is no APK download for iPhone. RYDAR is installed directly as a Web App from Safari.

Add RYDAR to Your Home Screen

Create an app icon on your iPhone Home Screen for instant launch.

1.Open the RYDAR website in Safari.
2.Tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari (square with arrow).
3.Scroll through the share options.
4.Tap Add to Home Screen.
5.Make sure the title is set to RYDAR.
6.Tap Add in the top right corner.
7.RYDAR will now appear on your iPhone Home Screen. Launch it from the new icon.

Done: RYDAR is installed on your iOS device. Proceed to emergency shortcut setup.

Configure Emergency Alert Automation

Build an automated Apple Shortcut to send location and call emergency contacts automatically.

Open Shortcuts.

Open Apple's built-in Shortcuts app on your iPhone.

Go to Automation.

Tap the Automation tab at the bottom.

Create Personal Automation.

Tap + or Create Personal Automation.

Select App trigger.

Select App, tap Choose, select RYDAR, select Is Opened, then tap Next.

Add Location Action.

Tap Add Action, search for Get Current Location, and select it.

Add Maps URL Action.

Tap the suggested action Get Maps URL.

Add Send Message Action.

Add Send Message, tap Recipients, and pick your emergency contact.

Add Call Action.

In action search, type Call, add it, and select your emergency contact.

iPhone / iOS • Step 4

Disable Confirmation

Ensure the emergency safety workflow fires automatically without manual prompts.

1.Tap Next in the top right corner.
2.Turn Ask Before Running OFF.
3.Confirm by tapping Don't Ask if prompted by iOS.
4.Tap Done to save your active emergency automation.

⚠️ IMPORTANT RIDE REQUIREMENT

Before every ride: Enable the RYDAR emergency automation in Shortcuts.

After every ride: Disable the automation to resume normal phone usage.

Please read these terms before using RYDAR.

1. Service

RYDAR is a driver-assistance platform intended to help identify fatigue and distraction. It is not an autonomous driving system and does not replace the driver's responsibility, attention, judgment, or compliance with traffic laws.

2. Subscription

The RYDAR Protection plan costs $25 per month. Subscription access is provided according to the plan shown at checkout and may renew automatically according to the payment provider's terms. You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.

3. Emergency Features

Emergency alerts, calls, location sharing, SMS delivery, mobile permissions, carrier availability, device settings, and operating-system restrictions can affect performance. RYDAR does not guarantee that an emergency message, call, location update, or warning will always be delivered.

4. Installation and Permissions

Users must install the RYDAR web application and any supported companion software only from official RYDAR distribution sources and must grant the permissions required for the configured features.

5. Driver Responsibility

Drivers must remain attentive and must not use RYDAR as a substitute for safe driving practices. Do not interact with the phone while driving unless it is safe and legally permitted.

6. Hardware

RYDAR hardware is currently listed as coming soon. Hardware specifications, compatibility, pricing, and availability may change before commercial release.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, RYDAR and its operators are not responsible for accidents, injuries, losses, missed alerts, connectivity failures, device failures, or other damages resulting from reliance on the service.

8. Changes

RYDAR may update these terms, features, pricing, or service availability when necessary. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
